Anna Lange

Anna Lange - Training Manager

Senior Trainer – NSF New Zealand – Food & Sustainability Advisory Solutions (FSAS) Oceania

Anna is a qualified NZQA Adult Trainer and Assessor with 14 years of experience in the Training and Development Industry both in New Zealand and overseas. She is a member of NZ Association of Training and Development since 2012. Her area of expertise is designing and delivering Food Safety related trainings. Anna joined NSF International in 2017 as a Food Safety trainer and progressed to the role of a Senior Trainer within the organization. Prior to joining NSF International, Anna worked as a Retail Programme facilitator and trainer for Unitec and Manukau Institute of Technology.

In her spare time Anna likes experimenting with food, creating new recipes. She also enjoys hiking and exercising.

Brett Zimmerman

Brett Zimmerman- Food or Beverage Trainer

As a Casual Food or Beverage Trainer for NSF, I consider myself to be in a privileged position of passing on my experience of over 15 years working as senior chef in many restaurants/hotels and resorts across New Zealand, Australia and the UK.

Furthermore, having acquired over 15 years’ experience in the secondary school teaching hospitality and food technology.  In this time, we set up the catering academy within the school where many of our students achieved distinction at the national culinary fare across many years. As part of the catering academy, we taught the students the importance and value of food and beverage and food hygiene.

One of my personal career highlights was cooking for the last Tom Cruise movie set – The Last Samurai, which was filmed in the wider Taranaki region. In the peak season of the filming, we were catering over 1500 actors and actresses.

Being a casual Food and Beverage Trainer for NSF I gain tremendous satisfaction from delivering my workshops to the learners who constantly impress me with their desire to improve their knowledge and expertise in their chosen profession.

My qualification are as follows.

  • City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2
  • Restaurant service
  • Bachelor of commerce
  • Postgraduate certificate in secondary teaching
  • Currently working towards achieving a diploma in digital instructional learning.

Chris Hand

Chris Hand- Food Safety Consultant

Chris previously worked full time as a Consultant for NSF, but is now a Casual Employee, mainly for Food or Beverage Training.

His areas of expertise include:

Louise Champion

Louise Champion - ARG

Louise brings a wealth of experience from both corporate and learner-focused environments to the NSF trainer role. She was an early adopter of virtual learning and facilitation; empowering Ministry of Education clients across New Zealand, using one of the first ever national eLearning platforms.

Her leadership and commitment have taken her across compulsory-level education to providing teacher in-service education, national elections staff training and polling place management, knowledge manager of a public policy research entity, Covid case investigation, project management and consultation predominantly in the IT sector and education or crossing both simultaneously, with an early highlight working as Education Training Manager for Apple New Zealand.

Her life-long passion for growing people capacity across organisations has led to Louise building exceptional resources, content development, programmes, and events that deliver great outcomes and ensure learner success. Throughout her career Louise always collaborates and builds connections to ensure stakeholder voice counts, while leading by example.

Louise’s expertise includes:

· Project scoping, planning, management and documentation

· Adaptable cross-platform learning environment skills

· Energetic, motivational delivery expert

Louise attained a Bachelor of Education from the University of Canterbury, and Diploma of Teaching (Primary). She has worked virtually and in person across Aotearoa New Zealand. For relaxation Louise enjoys stand-up paddleboarding, golf, hiking and mountain biking.
