NSF Training will not tolerate, condone or ignore any form of harassment or discrimination, whether intentional or unintentional. This specifically prohibits harassment on the following grounds: race, colour, ancestry, creed (religion), place of origin, ethnic origin, citizenship, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, same-sex partnership status, family status, disability, socioeconomic status.

  2. Criteria for Successful Completion Participants will receive the NSF Training Certificate of Attendance upon successful completion of the training program. Criteria for successful completion includes, but may not be limited to, the following: • Sign-in at the commencement of the learning event and at least 90% attendance in all sessions • Full participation in (and satisfactory completion of) all related program activities, including group activities, required assignments and relevant assessments. • There must be one participant signed in on a single computer to meet attendance requirements. Participants may not share a computer or connect to audio-only to meet attendance requirements. • Payment of course fees must not be in arrears on the course start date or agreed upon payment timeline. For courses not accredited by NZQA NSF Training will issue a Certificate of Attendance, or a certificate will be provided directly by the appropriate third-party organisation. All completion criteria listed above must be met to be eligible for a certificate. A Certificate of Accomplishment will be issued for all programs accredited by the New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA)

  3. Notice of Unsatisfactory Completion Participants who fail to meet the criteria for successful completion (as stated above) will not satisfactorily complete the training program and will not be eligible to receive the NSF Training Certificate. If the participant is unsuccessful completing the training, they are welcome to register for the course and try again after a six month stand down period. This is at the cost of the participant. a. Cheating NSF maintains a strict no cheating Policy. NSF will implement measures to ensure that all work submitted is the learner’s own work. Common forms of cheating include, but are not limited to copying, using notes to complete answers, using AI or other electronic or web-based aids to complete answers as well as falsification of ID documentation or using other persons to complete online/ remote work on the learner’s behalf. NSF’s response to cheating will vary depending on the seriousness of the cheating. Cheating Policy In all cases the learner suspected of cheating will be stood down from the training course pending a full investigation. The learner may appeal the decision, however if the claims of cheating are upheld by the trainer and a Peer Reviewer the following may occur. In cases of minor cheating such as copying on a short course, and limited to a small number of questions only, the learner will be given the opportunity to complete a new test/exam under very strict conditions of separation and will be further assessed (i.e. verbal verification) to determine if the learner has sufficient knowledge of the subject matter being assessed. If the cheating is more systemic, or over multiple questions, the learner will be removed from the course pending review by the trainer and a Peer. In such cases where the learner is self-funded, the interim step will be taken that they will be removed from the course and if the claims of cheating are upheld, will not be assessed. There will be no refund and the students’ details maintained to block attempts at reenrollment. No refund will be given. NSF Confidential 2024 rev 3 Any learner who has been identified cheating on a course will not typically be re enrolled on any future NSF courses unless strict anti cheating protocols such as those outlined below are implementable, including monitorable face to face assessment conditions. If the allegations of cheating are not upheld, the learner will be reassigned onto the next available training without prejudice. In addition, in cases where the learner is funded by their employer, the allegation of cheating will also be raised with the employer and a decision made in conjunction with them regarding the learner being stood down from the learning/exam as above, or if circumstances dictate, reinstated. Reinstatement will be on the conditions that; · A full course fee will be payable for reattendance of a new course. · The re assessment is conducted in a face to face environment to limit the options for cheating , where appropriate a fee to cover such arrangements will be invoiced to the learner/ learners employer. · A minimum 6 month stand down will apply. Proactive measures NSF’s policies such as ensuring sufficient space for distance between learners (1.5 metres), ensuring that learners cannot see other learner’s work, monitoring for clear desks, no notes and no access to phones and/or electronic devices during exams on face-to-face courses, will be applied. Virtual and Self-paced eLearning courses For virtual instructor led courses, telltale signs such as work not in the learner’s own words, cameras being turned off, etc., will result in warnings being issued and verbal checks of the learner’s knowledge. This action is so that the assessor may confidently mark papers knowing that this is the learner’s own work and if the evidence suggests cheating, the above policy will be followed. For self-paced eLearning courses, if cheating is considered a possibility, key indicators such as a realistic time to complete the work and systemic failure in multiple areas corrected in the final submission may be cross checked by verifying the learner’s knowledge after the event, and if the evidence suggests cheating, the above policy will be followed. Statement The following statement will be shared with learners engaged on NSF training programmes: · NSF does not condone cheating. Learners agree to only submit test/ exam answers that are their own work. Learners suspected of cheating, including copying other learners work, bringing notes to exams either physically of electronically, or falsifying IDs or using another person to complete their work will be considered a suspected cheat. · Learners suspected of cheating may be removed from the course pending further investigation. Learners caught cheating by the trainer or witnessed by the trainer will not be able to re-enroll for a period of not less than 6 months. A second time will see them not be able to re-enroll. Learner’s Rights: • The learner has the right to explain his or her actions. • The learner has the right to ask for further clarification if unclear about why certain actions are considered cheating or plagiarism. • The learner has the right to demonstrate his/her knowledge or skills by completing the assignment without cheating or plagiarism (if the learner has chosen to re-enroll after 6 months)
